#sparkchamber 050117 Danna Pye

A lovely, mystical light entered the #sparkchamber today. Meet Danna Pye, an artist, a creative channeler, a writer, a storyteller, and more. Danna magically juggles a life of clay, writing, tarot reading, yoga, dance, single mothering, and working in a coffee shop. Blending visual art, writing and music with facilitating both social innovation and personal transformation is her passion on this earth!

Danna offers tarot card readings — an amazing tool for navigation, especially in times of transition. Learn more about that here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=2s&v=owZWmVsmk1Q

1.] Where do ideas come from?
My creative ideas come from inspiration, so I guess they come from Spirit. They usually come when I am in the flow, doing something I love, or something meditative or ritualistic like showering, walking, driving, making drinks at the bar (coffee shop) or doodling or dancing.

2.] What is the itch you are scratching?
I can't say I have an itch that I'm scratching. Sometimes I might be dealing with deep pain, or joy, but I can't say I've ever noticed there being anything like an itch involved in my art of any kind!

3.] Early bird or night owl, tortoise or hare?
I am an early bird, and a hare. I get all my best ideas usually in the morning and I have a lot of energy then, too. I try to get up about 5 a.m.to be the most productive in every way. I work best when I can jump between projects, and am terrified of deadlines.

4.] How do you know when you are done?
With art, I just get a feeling suddenly that it is finished. Like the desire to let out a breath. And then that's it, and there is nothing I can do to add on, or I'll ruin it. :-)
